We have run training sessions for local authorities in Devon, Dorset and Somerset on the use of Sport England’s original methodology for assessing playing pitches.
Jacqueline is keen to raise the profile of sport and recreation planning – both within the planning profession and allied to the teaching of geography in schools.
She guest lectures on the MSc course in Town Planning in the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Science at the University of Plymouth on ‘Sport and Recreation Planning’ and offers a range of seminars and courses on planning for sport.
She has recently become a Royal Town Planning Institute Ambassador in the South West. This scheme is part of the RTPI Future Planners Initiative, and is designed to facilitate RTPI members to visit schools to raise awareness of, and emphasise the importance of planning.
Jacqueline is very happy to come and talk to your group or organisation about planning for sport and recreation and to speak at seminars and conferences.
